My Story

Hi my name is Debbie.  I work at Oasis Travel in Warrenpoint.

Anyone who knows me will know I lost my one and only beautiful sister, Tina 9 months ago to this silent cancer.  I have chosen to do this charity cycle this Friday (7th June) evening with little to no training as cancer does not prepare us for the road ahead.  Upon her diagnosis Tina had one of the toughest journeys I have ever witnessed.

Please support me in helping me support this charity close to my heart.

#PedalThePeriphery 2024, is an epic endurance event, that will see teams cycle, in total, 480 miles in 48 hours around Northern Ireland.

This major fund and awareness-raising fixture, born in 2023 has now become an annual team fixture for NI’s only local pancreatic cancer charity NIPANC.

NIPANC has its roots in a group of people affected by pancreatic cancer coming together for support and to raise funds to promote better diagnosis and treatment for future patients.
