About

PedalThePeriphery 2026: The Ultimate 48-Hour Cycling Challenge

My team are taking on PedalThePeriphery 2026; epic endurance event that will see us cycle 480 miles non-stop in 48 hours around Northern Ireland!

Born in 2023 from the vision and determination of sisters Andrea Harrower and Cathy Booth, this incredible challenge has become a flagship annual fundraiser for NIPANC, Northern Ireland’s only local pancreatic cancer charity.

Why We Ride

The team relay format means groups of between 2 and 12 riders share the journey, with only one teammate on the road at any one time. It’s a test of teamwork, stamina, and spirit, whether you’re tackling your first endurance challenge or you’re a seasoned cyclist.

Pedalling for a Purpose

NIPANC was founded by people personally affected by pancreatic cancer, coming together to support one another and to raise funds for earlier diagnosis, better treatment, and improved outcomes for future patients.

Over the years, PedalThePeriphery has united hundreds of riders, raising vital awareness and funds to power this mission forward.

Now, in 2026, we’re aiming to make it bigger and more impactful than ever.

Together, we ride to make a difference, one mile at a time.
